The Opelousas Trail - Meat, Money and Mayhem
We love hearing from our fans!
Long before there was the Chisolm or Goodnight Loving Trails, there was the Opelousas trail. Used by Native Americans, the Spanish, Mexicans, Texans and yes...cattle. Driving herds to New Orleans was not for the faint of heart, but for those that did it well, it seriously paid off. We hope you enjoy listening the our tale about the original Texas cattle drive.
